Athletics (40 places)
In the summer term a series of athletics activities take place.

Extra Curricular ClubsKS2 Football  (40 places).
The football team competes in the inter- schools’ league which they regularly win! FA registered coaches help train our team on a weekly basis.

Reception-Y2 Football (30 places)
An ‘Xtra Time Soccer’ coach leads these sessions for the younger children.

Judo Education (30 places, Spring only)
This is always a popular club!

Multi-sports (60 places)
This is a new club run by all our teachers for KS2 children. It includes games such as rounders, cricket, tennis, badminton & bowls.

Netball (40 places)
The netball team competes in the inter-school league.

Violin & Guitar lessons
There is a termly charge for these lessons to cover the cost of peripatetic music teachers and they are held during the school day.

Art (12 places).
The art club focuses on a different theme each half term and produces outstanding quality work. For example one project included depicting the local leisure centre using acrylic paints on a large canvas and was displayed in Bootle Town Hall.

Extra Curricular ClubsChoir (30 places)
The choir often takes the lead in church services, provides carol concerts for the local retirement and nursing homes and sings with the Police Band at charity events. 

Dance (20 places)
The dance club creates dance routines that are performed for our school community & in competitions.

Recorder (12 places)           
Y3 pupils are able to learn to play the recorder during lunchtimes. School is able to provide a recorder.  

Modern Foreign Languages (20 places per club) We have partner schools in Malaga, Spain; Gothenburg, Sweden and Chongqing, China.
The  Spanish club for Y3 & 4 will have the opportunity to contact their Spanish peers. Also members of our partner school in Chongqing, China keep in regular contact and arrange exchange visits with us.
